LG Twins announced that NCT member Ji Seong will throw the ceremonial first pitch for Game 3 of the KBO League quasi-playoff (best-of-five) against the KIA Tigers at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on October 20, 2026. The club said it selected him for the role.

Why the game matters

LG lost the first two games of the series, so a defeat on October 20 would end their season. Win or lose, the game may also be remembered as the last professional baseball game held at Jamsil Stadium.

What happens to Jamsil Stadium?

Jamsil Stadium will be torn down after the 2026 season, and a new stadium will be built on the same site. That makes Ji Seong a possible final ceremonial thrower at the ballpark.
