What did Kim Kwang-kyu announce?
Actor Kim Kwang-kyu said he bought a home in Seoul after 28 years of trying. He made the announcement on MBC's variety show Hangout With Yoo, which aired on October 31. Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyeong-hwan and Joo Woo-jae served as his one-day managers for the episode.
Why did the show's managers get involved?
During the episode, Kim Kwang-kyu said he had wanted to open a small noodle restaurant because living alone can be lonely. Yoo Jae-suk asked Heo Kyeong-hwan to look after him, and Heo jokingly asked to move nearby. That is when Kim revealed he had moved to Yeonhui-dong, financing the purchase partly with a loan.
What is the background on his earlier property?
In 2021, Kim bought a 60-pyeong mixed-use apartment in Songdo, Incheon, his first home. According to the report, that apartment's price once reached 14 billion won before dropping sharply, which drew attention.
