What is the news about Kim Hyun-joong's ex?

SEEU, the former girlfriend of singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong, has begun working as a creator under her stage name on TikTok. According to Xportsnews, she holds live broadcasts twice a day to talk with her followers.

Who is SEEU?

SEEU is signed to the TikTok live agency LIGHTNING CENTRAL. During a broadcast on October 22, when a follower asked whether she was a teacher, she said no, but noted that she had once worked as an acting teacher, which hints at past work in the entertainment field.

What is the background of the dispute?

SEEU dated Kim Hyun-joong for three years starting in 2012. The two later clashed in court over an assault allegation and paternity. SEEU gave birth to a son in September 2015, and a paternity lawsuit confirmed Kim as the biological father. She is now raising the boy alone.

In 2020, the Supreme Court ruled that SEEU's claims of a pregnancy, a miscarriage caused by assault, and forced abortion were false, and ordered Kim to pay 100 million won in damages. Kim married a non-celebrity of his own age in February 2022 and had a son that October.
