BABYMONSTER is making a sharp change of direction with its newest release. According to TenAsia, the group will unveil the digital single 'DESERVE' at 1 p.m. on October 23, and this time it is leaning on vocals rather than the explosive hip-hop and fast dance tracks it has been known for.

What kind of song is 'DESERVE'?

'DESERVE' is a pop ballad layered with synthesizer melodies and a nostalgic, retro feel. The song builds its emotion step by step, then peaks with high notes in the chorus and bridge, where the members' singing carries the track.

What did the teaser poster show?

A poster released on October 22 through the group's official blog used car headlights and rising flames as its backdrop, creating a tense atmosphere. The members appeared more mature in appearance, which has fueled curiosity about the story in the full music video.

How busy is BABYMONSTER this year?

According to the report, 'DESERVE' marks the group's fifth music activity of 2026. A new album is also planned for early next year. Meanwhile, the group is in the middle of its second world tour, '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR 'CHOOM'', which includes 31 shows across 18 cities on 5 continents.

For international fans

BABYMONSTER is a seven-member girl group, and this single gives fans a clear sample of a different side of their music. Viewers who follow the tour can expect the new track to be part of the live set in the coming months.
